We are looking for a friendly team member who has stellar communication skills! The Customer Service Representative will take phone calls and will also assist customers via email and chat. The ideal candidate is a natural at multitasking and juggling several tasks! This person also has excellent written and oral communication skills! Prior chat/email based customer service experience a plus!

This Customer Service pro would work 7:30AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday at our Lancaster office.

JOB TYPE

  • Full-time

PAY

  • $16.00 – $17.00 per hour

EXPECTED HOURS

  • 40 per week

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Boyertown! The ideal candidates will have expertise in diesel engine systems, diagnostics, and hands-on repair work, alongside ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in a certified inspection environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform basic preventive maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, fuel systems, and other vehicle components as directed.
  • Perform minor repairs and replace faulty parts on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, fuel systems and other vehicle components as directed.
  • Conduct state and federally required inspections for all diesel-powered vehicles in the Rhoads fleet, ensuring they meet safety and environmental standards.
  • Prepare and complete inspection reports, including maintaining records of all repairs and maintenance.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment and technical expertise to identify mechanical issues in diesel engines and other vehicle systems.
  • Implement corrective actions based on diagnostic findings to restore vehicles to optimal condition.
  • Perform major repairs and replace faulty parts on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, fuel systems and other vehicle components as directed.
  • Monitor and maintain maintenance logs for the fleet, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • PA State Inspection Certification
  • Valid commercial driver’s license with hazmat and tanker endorsement

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Proficient in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel engines, drivetrains, and hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with diesel diagnostics software and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and maintenance standards.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a diesel mechanic, with experience in a fleet environment.
  • Experience working in a certified inspection location or performing DOT inspections is required.
